1. About this policy

This policy explains:

• How we use and protect the personal information that you give us when you use our website, and
• How you can access and update that info

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review any changes. This policy has been updates on December, 16th 2020.

2. What is personal data?

Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data. Identification can occur by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information (in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such possession). The collection and processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

3. Who are we?

In the framework of GDPR, we are the data controller. This means we decide how your personal data is processed and for what purpose.

4. Why do we collect your personal data?

We collect 2 types of data:

• Personal data you enter using our web forms. This data is needed to enable the services you selected (such as: registering as a site user; completing and submitting your registration for an agility competition; pose a question, report an issue or request a feature).
• Page usage/transaction data. This data is used to understand how you use the site and allows us to improve our services.

5. Which personal data do we collect?

Depending on the forms you complete, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your contact such as your email and postal address
• Your date of birth
• Your credit card information (when you perform a payment).
• Your device id (when you register a Smarter Agility app).

Page transaction data, such as:

• Your IP-address
• The request date and time, page requested, http code, referrer, etc.

6. What is the lawful basis for collecting your personal data?

Before collecting any personal data via web forms, we request your consent (either when registering or via the contact form when you visit our site as a guest).

In addition, we have a legitimate interest in collecting web page transaction data. That is, it serves to prevent and identify fraud; and is used to enhance the security of our information systems.

7. Do we collect, store and process the data ourselves?

Stripe payment service

If you decide to activate the premium account and pay using credit card, you will be required to enter you credit card details. We do however, not store that data. Nor do we process it ourselves. In stead, we use Stripe to process your payment. You can find more info on Stripe's GDPR compliance on their web site .

Google analytics

Like most other sites, we use google analytics. This helps us understand how you find us and use our web site. We only use this data to improve our website and services.

To ensure GDPR compliance, we have a data processor agreement with Google Inc. Moreover, we do not collect full IP addresses, use a secure (TLS) connection and do not share the data.

8. How do we use cookies?

We use the following cookies:

• Essential cookies are required to identify you as a registered user.
• Functional cookies remember your preferences and improve your user experience.
• Tracking cookies are used by google analytics (see above).

9. What about links to other websites?

Our website may contain links to other websites. You should note that we do not have any control over those other websites and that they are not governed by this privacy statement. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide while visiting those sites. You should exercise caution and review the corresponding privacy statements.

10. Do we share your data?

We do not share your data except in the following situations:

• When required by law to do so. In such case and if permitted by law, we will attempt to notify you.
• When you personally activate a function, such as: initiating a payment transaction, submitting a trial registration form (in that case the data is provided to the organizing organization), sharing a course image using the sharing button.
• When you register for a competition your data is forwarded to / shared with the organizing club and its representatives.
• When you add a dog and indicate is has a KKUSH license, the data is forwarded to the Sectie 4C (i.e. the KKUSH agility representatives) site for verification.

11. How do we process your personal data?

We comply with GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by taking reasonable steps to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.

12. How are data breaches addressed?

We will report any unlawful data breach that may impact your personal data to the authorities within 72 hours of the breach being discovered (internally) or reported (externally).

13. How can you control your personal data?

Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

• You may request details of personal information that we hold about you.
• You may request that we provide you with your personal data and where possible, to transmit that data directly to another data controller.
• If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, you may request for it to be corrected or completed. We will promptly correct/complete any information found to be incorrect/uncomplete.
• You may request personal data to be erased when it is no longer necessary for us to retain them.
• You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
